During this workshop you will learn all about colour. You will use hand carders and combine colour roving ready for you to spin or use in felting.Â

Professional Finishing Techniques

The difference between a “homemade” sweater and a “professional” garment lies in the finishing. This workshop removes the mystery of the assembly process. Students will learn the Mattress Stitch for invisible vertical seams, how to pick up stitches evenly along a neckline, and the best methods for weaving in ends so they stay put. We will also discuss the transformative power of blocking and how to choose the right method for different fiber types. All experience levels welcomes
